The biodiesel market across the globe is growing rapidly, mainly in the EU, USA, Asia and South America.  Each country favors different type of oil based on what their government gives incentive on.

The rapeseed oil is favored in Europe, the palm oil is favored in Asia, the soybean oil is favored in Latin America and the US, and corn oil is favored in the US.

Used oil and brown grease isolated from water treatment plants are cheaper than any other vegetable oil and are considered as a favored raw material everywhere since it is also cumbersome to the environment and its isolation and conversion to biodiesel is a very much welcome green process where governments such as the US and China give incentives for using it.
